Clark Creek Wind Farm

About the Project

The Clark Creek Wind and Solar Farm project is located 150km northwest of Rockhampton and 150kn south of Mackay in the Issac Shire and Livingstonshire areas.

The project has received necessary state and federal government approvals to develop:

     - up to 195 wind turbines with a power output over 800 MW

     - Between 200 MW of solar power and battery energy storage.

The first stage of the project is planned to include 100 Goldwin turbines totaling 450 MW.

The project is currently in the feasibility phase. Lacour energy and Goldwin are actively working on technical, environmental, social, and economic aspects of the project. We aim to start road upgrade work followed by full wind farm construction in 2021.

The total project investment is anticipated to be approximately  $1.5 billion. Once operational the project will power approximately 590, 000 Queensland homes.
